Lime Water isn't a dangerous chemical? I don't think.. all I know it's use is for testing CO2.

I'm an IB Chemistry Student, and Lime Water should do you no harm. You aren't allowed to use certain chemicals in labs without supervision from a qualified teacher in the subject of Chemistry. We've used stuff like Iodine - which is Corrosive. If inhaled it can do a lot of damage. Chlorine Gas (Mustard Gas) is another thing that we've used in the lab. Dangerous but allowed to be used in situations under strict control and supervision.

and chemicals have to be so weak to allow you to use them etc.
the strongest your ever get to use is Prob Hydrocholric acid with about 5 parts water and 1 part Acid.
or maybe if your lucky then Potassium,

most chemicals you handle in key stage 3/4 are relatively harmless, most acids you use are so dilute they are about the same strength as vinegar (yes vinegar is an acid)

i think the most dangerous chemical ive handled is something like 15M HCL <- v nasty stuff, i accidentally spilled like a couple of drops onto the floor and it ate its way through a floor tile.

so yeah, if you wanna use the really dangerous chemicals...do chemistry at uni
