Greatest Movie ever made?

Everyone has their own personal view on the greatest film of all time. I think the creator of this thread was trying to get people to name what they think is that film. There is a strong difference in what people think is the absolute greatest film of all time, and what their own personal favourites are. Like I said, I enjoy JAWS over any other film that I have ever seen, but in terms of pure quality, I name The Shawshank Redemption.
