I totally agree but we all know Habbox Management don't like to be told, don't we. and if it come down to voting most words would be unfiltered.

I very much agree with the ending of your post, the forum is based around a UK site, with the majority of members from the UK; therefore it should be someone from the UK who decides whether things are offensive or not, because there is much variation all over the world - and it's only fair that it is based on the UK.

Undertakers V sign from gordon brown is far less offensive than piss or ***** but hxf think different :s they have got to go one way or the other and not make a total mess of it by not being able to decide either way. Who says what word or image is more offensive than another? it depends on your area alot of the time so a poll that all forum members can vote on wou.ld give a better indication to what we find offensive and not what we are told is offensive by a few people and some who dont even live in the UK.

The same debate can be occured with the word 'piss' which is in your username.

    I say no.

I made a post in the council forum asking if you thought piss was swearing and it got a very mixed response. I think it depends where in the UK you are from as well as what country. They seem to be stuck in the middle with a select few telling us whats swearing and whats not and some things I find less offensive to what has been unfiltered. :eusa_wall

I go against my the word in my name and still believe it should be filtered - I have this name because I took advantage of it (because it annoyed me that it was unfiltered and no-one had the name) and It'll be gone this week fyi.

I don't think ***** should be unfiltered because yes it's not explicit as some swear words but 9 out of 10 times it is used to insult someone rather than 'I *****ed my finger with a pin' or whatever. However, it doesn't really bother me either way just if it was my decision it would be filtered.

I'd much rather have to put a letter in italics when I say ***** than to have it said everywhere. Where can you actually say it out of a cus, "I *****ed my finger" Yeah, that happens everyday.

    I agree!
It's the quality of your posts that count, not the quantity!

So do I. And surely if we are going with Habbo here as a Habbo Fansite surely the filter rules should be the same as in game? Even though, Habbo's filter can be turned off but your still not allowed to use swearing offensively.

Well I can say *** which means exactly the same thing, and I doubt anyone cares... Well, they haven't in the past but I bet they will now I've pointed it out. I don't think it should be unfiltered, since it's offensive to users. Words like **** shouldnt be unfiltered imo either. There's some words which would be alright to unfilter but it's the fact that some people are immature in using these words, which puts the whole filtering issue into something of a doubt. I'd much rather prefer it if you could turn off the filter...

That's going Habbo'ish lol, but I'm sure you could find a hack/script in VBulletin Forums.
