Probably because the rules on moderating staff members threads and posts wasn't clear. That's what i'd assume anyway. At least it's sorted now and I am sure Elkaa will pass the message on![]()

I think all super mods should be allowed to edit staff members posts..
But after 4 years they should be :eusa_whis and I believe the hx staff following the rules is much more important than the members following the rules as they need to set a good example for the rest of us to follow.
I am pretty sure that previously the threads/posts by staff had to stay on public view until an AGM sorted the problem. I think that a smod moving them is all thats needed and if the change has recently been made (which is why nobody seems to know about it) Well done to Elkaa or whoever made the change.
Well it was me who reported it 2/3 days ago, and in fact I wrote in my report, that staff should read the rules. I was reporting a member of staff, surely when a thread created by a member of staff gets reported, it's given some kind of priority? Staff should be setting an example not rule breaking!
I don't know if the person accused of scamming is a member of the forum, but I do think it's disgraceful that the thread wasn't moved. Hopefully a lesson has been learnt here.

Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them.
I personaly think Elkaa should be given the permission to edit staff posts as the Forum is the main place for it ;D
What a lovely attitude you have
The name and the link to the video should have both been removed or the thread moved until dealt with by somebody who had authority to do so.
This thread is pointing out an issue that could be solved in a better way so please dont think it was made to point out that you cant follow the rules as a staff member should.
As long as the person in question is below management then that would work perfectly als the AFM if there is one any more

I think common sense should of kicked in here, and surely any capable mod should of moved the thread out of members view and into a forum for unsuitable threads, until a suitable member of staff could have dealt with it! Not that difficult is it?

We are not allowed to move any staff post/thread at all unless its a staff member posting constant porn links, swearing then we are allowed too in other words content which would mean your banned auto otherwise we must report the post to the Staff Editor.
