Misawa seems to think they are a 'film guru' :> (lol)
Do you write, produce, edit and direct films? Unless you can, don't patronise what I do. And based on the fact that you wrote 'they' when writing about a single person, you probably don't do what I do.

What about 'They used to go to my school' ?
I was gonna go see it but everyone has put me off LOL
Misawa probably is the Film Guru on habbox, he does know what he's talking about but when he gives his opinion of a film whether it's good or not he doesn't just take how entertaining it was but he then says about how well the movie is made which is completly the wrong thing to do, film reviewers don't give low ratings based on the film-making but on the elements of the film itself e.g. sound, cast, plot etc. they wont let things like camera angles used, script used because that's not reviewing the film that's reviewing the production team, the only time the actual film-making could be mentioned in a review is if it is REALLY bad
I don't comment on camera shots when I'm reviewing, only analysing and/or studying. Looking at the script is vital for reviewing a film - dialogue is one of the key factors of a film - bad dialogue brings films down. The process of film-making involves casting, diegetic and non-diegetic sound, and the plot - which is from the script. All films start off with a screenplay. The elements that you have suggested are all in the process of film-making, and yes, reviews do go on how the pictures are made. Saying that reviews should be based on "entertainment" is unintelligent because a plethora of factors result in levels of entertainment. Reviews that aren't broad aren't helpful.Misawa probably is the Film Guru on habbox, he does know what he's talking about but when he gives his opinion of a film whether it's good or not he doesn't just take how entertaining it was but he then says about how well the movie is made which is completly the wrong thing to do, film reviewers don't give low ratings based on the film-making but on the elements of the film itself e.g. sound, cast, plot etc. they wont let things like camera angles used, script used because that's not reviewing the film that's reviewing the production team, the only time the actual film-making could be mentioned in a review is if it is REALLY bad
by the looks of it, it looks like a very accurate portrayal of every day american teen life. we always dress up and have dance offs, and somehow we all have mad balancing skills for reasons no one ever questions.
yeah, all that was sarcastic. i heard a bunch of people say that the dance sequences are good, but if you can't overlook how ridiculous and contrived the plot is, it will be a horrible movie experience. i can't really do that, so i guess i'm skipping it.
