Probably because whereas in a normal job you usually work only so you can afford to live but employees there must actually want to work there, and they all work on laptops I suppose so they can sit in whatever area they want

All their services are free of charge and surely they can't make much from the few adds you get on the right hand side of your screen when you do a search?

Tbh the main thing they do is think up schemes on how they can take over the NET *WORLD
