Depends how they feel on the day. I got a new one because I put a tiny black mark at the back to see what I got.

They may have cleaned it, one guy bought a 360 and took it to a Halo launch , got it signed by the ENTIRE Halo team and a freestyle artist drew mastercheif on the side in permanent marker. He sent it off and it was returned cleaned!

I belive they give you someone else's broken one which they have fixed. That happened with my PSP when it died.

You should buy ellite its never got red ring for me not once had for 3 years befor that white one allways red rings.

I bought it before and tbh it makes more economic sense for me to just let them replace this as I don't have the money for an Elite
