www.cmpradio.co.uk It redirects to this new one now. But it was all 100% legal, fully licensed, had Smash Hits top 40 chart every Sunday (legal simulcast from Smash Hits Radio), News on the hour, GOOD imaging (jingles - but i hate that word), 23hr/day (one day for maintenance), good software and an excellent community of listeners/broadcasters.
goodbye.
I dont think its a very big market with the big players dominating it. But i sppose its the same with anything these days, its impossible for new companies to get popular

Just a note for a few of you guys who take radio a bit more serious.
This softwear is making quite a big impact now.Its basicly free for non comericial stations.I have used it on whitchurchfm a local comunity station broadcast about 6 weeks a year on a FM lisance. The softwear is called Mairlist it looks pretty basic but if you really spend a good few hours changing stuff ect u can get a nice pice of softwear.Better used using touch screen but still verry good. Its made by a german guy called torban and is a verry helpful guy as well because he gives you advice on how to make the most out of it.It was so good i now use for a small school station that broadcasts round the school.
