I believe you could download them by a torrent and install a virtual machine to run them on. Although you would need virtual machines to run drivers reconised by the old school GUI's.

We used to have a Windows 3.1 kicking around, we chucked it recently.

What irritates me is that they hardly changed the Sound Recorder in 9 years and it was very similar to that one in XP, however in Vista they balls it entirely up and make it so simple, however by simple they have removed all it's features, frankly the one in 1992 is a great deal better than the one released in 2007.

It's so irritating, just look at the crappy one in Vista, it's uselesssssss:

It's even removed the features like 'Pause' and 'New', it's absolutely useless, you can't even change the Microphone, there is Start Recording and that is entirely it.
