    I think I would of been going for undoing the boot, poor woman She was only 29ish aswell god, can't imagine if I was one of the men trying to free her, nevermind the woman who got hit!

    Read it in The Mirror on way home from The Deep. Sad news this, I'd be well upset if it was someone close, or even if you were trying to save the person.

    At above: It was kind of too late. The train isn't miles away, it's a few hundred metres from a crossing. So the driver could only use the emergency brakes asap.

    i may be wrong but i read this as she got helped out then ran across again then got hit, in which case was definitely her stupidity

    i remember about 3 years ago, merseyrail came into my high school and told us that it takes the length of 20 football stadiums to stop. dont know whether it's true or not though.

    that's a shame, but it's her own fault for crossing when they were down, cant imagine being the two men trying to help, they had good instinct to do so but y'know..

    Also, why didn't they just take her foot out of the boot?
