Why did habbo introduce the room rate?

It was probably introduced to newbies. We all know what it does, but do newbies know? That is probably why they put all these "recommended room" listings all over the place. (Ie. hover over navigator, habbo homepage, navigator listing)

it was cool when it was never reset, it's a shame they do reset them.

They randomly get reset every now nd again, my room was almost at 1000 now its less then 100, they should reset it once at the beginning of the week

They created the room rating to create controversy amongst the Habbo community by creating a dividing line between good rooms and bad rooms, resulting in more abuse than they first started with.

What would be great is if they were all reset & (abit like snowstorm & battleball scores) they do a top ten thingy with prizes for most room ratings.
