only two songs to ever make me cry;

"two-headed boy part II" by neutral milk hotel. it is in fact the most heartbreaking, emotional, and beautiful ending to any song ever in history, and no one can argue with that. it really only makes me cry when i listen to the album in it's entirety, because he sang everything he did on that album as if he were running out of time, like there was a gun to his head. and then he slows down his strumming and says "but don't hate her when she gets up to leave" with the final strum of his guitar, then he puts it down and walks away, and it always reminds me no one has heard a note from the brilliant man since. it will forever be my favorite album ever.

also, "fake plastic trees" by radiohead. not as much of a story to that one, it's just beautiful as hell.
