I'm not a big RATM fan but I do really like some songs.
Well, what I mean is Rage Against the Machine actually is involved in political activism, while Green Day just made a couple rock songs. When you listen to the two, you can tell which one actually means what it says, and is not just jumping on the "I hate G.W. Bush" bandwagon.

i guess, but old green day will always be the bomb.

I'm sure they're wonderful musicians, creative and all that, but most of their songs sound the same to me.
