Well if you are both plugged into the same router then it could be a dodgy connection. Try swopping the cables around and then see if you mother has the same problem with her laptop? If not try re-installing your Isp software. Otherwise I think you will need to contact sky.

Sorry, if i've confused you, but i've confused myself.

Me and my mum aren't wired to the router.

    We both run wirelessly.

Which is why I find it especially strange that her laptop works perfectly, but i'm having this problem.

But, why would this be Sky's fault?
Because the connection must be fine because my mum's connection is perfect.

    Thanks.

So neither of you are directly connected to the router? Has your mum age restricted you at all or have you got general 18+ access to the internet?

Nope - neither are wired to the router.

And, my mum has no access to the router settings what-so-ever; they're all mine! x]

No, no When your email account was set up - there is no age restriction - like a parental block on sites over 18?

Can u turn your firewall off to see if you can access them then? Have you messed with router settings at all?

Try turning off windows firewall, then try to get on one of the effected site. I used to have this problem on my old laptop (my mum figured out how to fix it, I'll see if she remembers)

    I'll try that now.
I did have a quick look at anything I could change, but there's nothing I can see that would cause the problem.
