i'd do that

i'm renting mine because i'm still growing and i understand you want one but when you earn more savings then buy one for future occasions.

you're dad seems like a prat, but it is hard sometimes for parents and he probably feels guilty that he can't afford it maybe?

my dad is the biggest ****** going
him and my step mum always moan about how they're in so much debt and stuff. my step mum hasn't worked for two years, and my dad is a self employed painter & decorator, so his work is pretty infrequent. my mum, on the other hand is a single parent with two jobs trying to provide for me, my brother, his fiance and their baby (my brother is a ******* and cant do it himself), and my dad ***** me off so much.

i got my year 11 prom on 6th may, i'm the only one who hasn't sorted out what i'm wearing and stuff. the prom is a big deal at my school, i've already paid for the ticket (35 quid) and i've paid my 35 quid share for the hummer me and my mates are renting, thats 70 quid gone. i don't even get paid much, and i didn't moan once about paying for those nor did i ask for my parents to pay. so the suit and stuff i want is 95 quid, i wanna buy it because i need smart clothes just for occasions in life, my mum said she will happily pay for half towards it (this is 95 not including the shoes, i said ill get them with discount from where i work) as long as my dad pays the rest, so i ring him tonight and basically he tells me to stick it where the sun don't shine. he said that now i have a job, i should grow up, not be such an immature little brat and pay my own way - how the hell am i gunna do that? my basic per month is around 90 quid, that's if i work the 4 hours per saturday at 6.08 per hour (i think thats right? idk) he keeps saying that now iu'm 16 i'm an adult, i should do things for myself and support myself, and when i finish school in 5 weeks, go and find a 'propper' job.

my dad makes me soooooooooo ******* angry, and i know this is an essay but i don't know what to do. i get paid tomorrow, i owe my boyfriend 110 for a festival ticket he got me and i promised id pay him when i got paid, my money is gunna be completely gone by next week, and then next weds i move in with my auntie so i can't even ask my mum to lend me money or anything. grrrrrr.
