Its based on real life furniture, also if its in comparison to the floor, thats just where I've placed it for show, heres another version where it fits.

Also, there are many pieces of furni on habbo which don't exist exactly within the habbo dimensions, whether it's the height of width.

As I've said in the post you quoted, its in comparison to the floor, which is just for show, I've shown you an edited version where it fits into the floor square and heres another 2 images showing you the exact same thing.

If it doesn't fit onto the floor, then it's a mistake on my part, it doesn't mean that the furniture doesn't fit, just in the location of which I've placed it.
