    Who would develop an SDK for a website.

    You're meaning an API right?

    SDK
    Software Development Kit

    Websites don't have software on them, but I get where you're coming from
    That went fast.

    I'm not looking for a 'Application programming interface', I think the right acronym is SDK, considering it's just a little bit of software where you can authenticate a klydo user, or access their friends, etc.

    So you mean things such as Adobe AIR and Google Gear applications? Which allow users to connect via desktop software to website APIs?

    No more like this kind of stuff, it has authentication, getting peoples contacts, not desktop software, still website coding (mostly), like windows live, you can download in several but if you check out the php version it's just a big class to do alot of things with, coupled with some examples showing you how you'd authenticate your user or get their contacts.

    SDK = Desktop/Software
    API = Web/Web applications

    SDK's communicate with API's.
