Well... Rules for fansites will differ between hotels and countries...

But that's unacceptable in my eyes...

It's not the responsibility of Habbo Hotel, Sulake or anyone affiliated to them so... It's risky. I bet there will be security on the door, but I don't see the idea as being overally bad? I think it's the 1-2-1 meetups which are the riskiest, however if you have mass groups meeting up then is there really going to be an incident?

By the sounds of their history, it's being going successfully for quite a while so whats the fuss. If something like that happened in the UK, I'd attend (given the permission from my parents). You can deem it as unacceptable if you want, and you can flame me all you like for being 'for' the meetup, but idc.

Not only that, but it's also a massive security risk - what's from stopping pedophiles and rapists from just turning up...
I can't help but note that there will probably be some adult protection there. It's not Sulake's problem so they can do it legally... Anyway, if this did happen in the UK and, obv ollie you would attend, who would want to rape THAT? >.>

The idea is not 'unbelievable'. Chill your jets, calm your engines.. If people want to meet other people from the Internet in this day and age they are more than able to. I remember when hobba's were encouraged to attend these sorts of events a couple of years ago and this is no different.

Personally I wouldn't want to meet up with people from the Internet because, frankly, it's weird. "Oooo We play Habbo!".

Sulake aren't kicking off a fuss because there isn't one.

And I'm sick and tired of kids kicking off huge fusses over little things on this forum because they are narrowminded and immature.

I can't read German, but it certainly looks bad.

I'd go if it happened on UK, but the point is, how can Habbo and Sulake actually allow a fansite to publicise a big meetup?!

I'm not saying it's unbelieveable or that they can't...

I'm just saying that they shouldn't be allowed to organize one publically and nothing be done about it...

Today MrJames, owner of HabboTimes, asked the german community manager kawu again whether german fansites are permitted to publish meet ups. Kawu said he asked one from the Sulake HQ about it and this person allowed it.

Not realy. Uk has other rules then the rest of europe. Uk has that alot. You dont have the euro, you drive on the wrong side of the road. So its not nice to call other fansites unacceptable. what the organise is there thing. Maybe its not save to meet people from the internet in the uk. But i believe that its rather save to meet people irl on germany holland french or whatever country, Not everywone is so small minded.
