What do they spend their money on? ¬.¬ I'd be able to live on 40k a week

    Didn't like Flamini anyway.
    Felt he was quite overrated.

If we gave Flamini 70k then other players would be asking for similar amounts then our wage structure would be destroyed, meaning we would go heavily in debt, afterall we're already £360 million in debt for the stadium. Wenger said on the Arsenal website they have to respect the wage structure, we simply can't afford to give players huge wages like this unless they're absolutely key like Thierry Henry was.

Personally, if I played for Arsenal I wouldn't leave for more money but obviously it's different for me because I'm an Arsenal fan and love the club. Would be a laugh if Milan didn't make 4th place and weren't in the Champions League next season, Flamini would not be pleased.

He was a very important and talented player for us this season, not only was he class individually and contributed to the team but he allowed Fabregas more attacking freedom which was one of the main reasons why we went on an impressive run of results in the first half of the season. I hope Arsene can find a very good replacement.

That's a good point. :] I don't understand why players need so much money tbh, when they can buy something like a huge house after about 2 months worth of wages.

Football used to be about passion and most players actually were contacted to the actual team and emotionally attached but now it's all about money.

Instead of teams doing this foreign player limit, they should do a wage cap like rugby league. If you go over it you get docked points.

Xeck + Wootzeh - Some people don't earn that money for years and work a million times harder than footballers. They even get to do something fun unlike some. They all complain about having families etc. but quite frankly what do they buy their kids? New diamond encrusted cereal bowls every week? It's ridiculous.

But how many people can play football at the highest level compared to the amount of people who can do an ordinary job?

And footballers dont just slack off  Im sure you wouldnt be able to keep up with the fitness of a footballer.

Im not saying i agree with the huge wages but youve got to look at it from both points of view.

They may be talented but by no means do they deserve all that money. About 20k a week maybe but not 150k like some.

I'm sure I'd be able to have the fitness of a footballer if I played everyday for loads of years.

Flamini has been one of our best players this season I read rumours he was going to leave but I didn't think much of it because why would you work so hard and play out of position (left back) to break into the first team just to leave when you do manage to secure a place in the starting 11?
Oh well, I just hope we don't lose Hleb aswell

    That is why.
jesus had an intimate moment with the infraction button until it told him to stop asking for it's personal details and gave him a warning.
