I doubt this has anything to do with it but the red bit looks like the olympic torch.
I think they are going for a "shattered" thing again, perhaps the rumours about an upstairs/downstairs is right?

davina has announced she will leave after this years show... And as for the new eye I got the impression that because it was early everything will be early like eviction night and trials etc to mess with TVs housemates to make them think its likes day earlier then it is or something¿ also this year expect less gimmicks and more wierdos according to official site
