the most famous bands ive seen are

    r.e.m.
    coldplay
    kanye west
and i'll throw modest mouse in the mix, since they had a #1 album last year, and have two platinum albums, even though they're rarely to never played on the radio.
    (and in august, radiohead)

    secondary-famous bands would be

    band of horses
    love as laughter
    rihanna
    lupe fiasco
    n.e.r.d.
    richard ashcroft (of the verve)
    blue man group
    reel big fish
    streetlight manifesto
    mxpx

bands ive seen that i'm not very fond of; you judge their fame i guess:

godsmack, evanescence, trapt, hoobastank, backstreet boys, staind, switchfoot, bowling for soup.

chris martin's voice is flawless, and he's hyper as hell, he's always running around and stuff, haha. it was pretty good, but nothing truly memorable, every song was exactly how it sounded on the album. i like when bands kinda change stuff around live, but whatever, it was cool.

reel big fish were pretty good, but i was mostly there for streetlight. r.e.m. were on their iffy stage when i saw them, but luckily they played mostly old stuff. if you think that list is good now, see my list next year. i'm going to college in new york, and there's a train to the city right on campus. i'm going to see more concerts than i can handle, haha.
