Because everyone who has a throne wants to get the most they can for them when selling so the buyers are forced to pay a bit more and so on.
There's nothing wrong from gaining a few hcs in profit in every trade.

Were did i say that Immenseman had loads of Thrones ?Immenseman (The rare values manager) does NOT have loads of thrones and if you think habbox is so bad go to HHGS but i suppose you think they do the same?!
LOLeatcheese is hogging them all.
But How did it get to from 20hc - 52hc i dont think people were looking for that much Proffit.Because everyone who has a throne wants to get the most they can for them when selling so the buyers are forced to pay a bit more and so on.

You don't know for a fact that this dose not happen sometimes.Rly being stupid when saying RVRs and manager make it up. They simply say what they see. -.-
So you should be flaming the public not the staff.
Have you notcied it's ever since credits have came out? It's probably someone sold theirs for 600 credits, and then another person took 600 credits and changed it into HCs with the old values? But really, I have no clue.

Good suggestion! It was about 150 credits per throne a while back (before you could trade credits) and now it went up to 700 at one point or something stupid. +rep for you anyway!
I would love to have loads of thrones to sell, sadly I don't. I'm sure you were joking but clearly some other users thought you were telling the truth and pounced upon your comment because they can't see a logical reason for why the throne has increased so of course there must be one person to blame!
Not quite, dear. I think you need to stop looking for someone to blame and face the obvious. This hasn't happened over a number of months, it's happened over years. Well since it was around 20hc anyway, that was in 2006, it's now 2008. The throne has gradually increased since it was given out on ione's birthday in 2002.
You can see in early 2004, it had already increased to 11.3hc: http://web.archive.org/web/200402070...box.com/rv.htm
In a few months it had risen to 19hc
http://web.archive.org/web/200406252...box.com/rv.htm
Mid way in 2005 it was still 19hc
http://web.archive.org/web/200506200...://habbox.com/
A year later it has risen to 29hc
http://web.archive.org/web/200607040...nt/view/73/94/
Another year later 2007 it was 39hc
http://web.archive.org/web/200707021...t/view/73/218/
So from 2004-2006 a 2 year gap it had almost tripled in value. However, from 2006-2008 another 2 year gap it hasn't even doubled really. I think that's proof enough that the thrones has pretty much always been increasing. Like every rare it's had bad patches and decreased and i'm sure there are more of these patches to come where it'll decrease. Just because it's now so expensive it doesn't mean the value isn't accurate because the value certainly IS accurate.
The rare value market works on supply and demand. Yes, there are thousands upon thousands of thrones out there but the fact remains they're wanted. Many people aspire to own a throne, it represents wealth on the game and that's how many habbos want to be, 'rich'. Also, many account with the thrones on from the years of 2002 and what not would of been banned and people leaving. I know there are still many about but a lot of the ones that are are stored in bulks. As long as the throne is still wanted the price will continue to increase, look at the value on habbo.com, it could soon be like that on .co.uk, who knows.
It's clear some of you want to take your frustration out on somebody. Well the only person to blame for the increase in thrones are the people who trade thrones. They ask for profit, they get it. The person then sells it on for a bit of profit themselves. When more and more people do this it affects the whole hotel, so Habbox is updated to match people paying more or less. If thrones began trading at 8hc per now that's what the value would be, simple.
You certainly implied it.
Read above.![]()
If there was no fluctuation in rare values then rare trading would be boring, and it would be impossible what with new releases and rereleases. The throne has gone up in how many HCs it's worth because the value of the HC has been drastically lowered by the number of other rares now out, many of them highly undesirable. As a trade commodity in itself it has not changed, as can be seen from how supers are still traded in thrones no matter how much a throne costs.
SOLUTION:
Don't use Habbox anymore...
let's see who trade for your prices.
And BTW! About the throne you can sell yours to me in 20 HC's if you want to
If you read the Rare Values at Habbox.com sais it's ONLY a guide...
