    i dont know exactly why it happens, it just does something that makes it more likely to break, if you want to use a fan with it just get a normal fan that doesnt use the xbox's power and direct that at it.

    read that and im guessing your right but, it says on there that MS won't know unless theres burn marks around the back of the xbox but I don't see any.
