The backs connect oddly to the arms, too. They don't obey physics, the highlights imply depth which isn't backed up by the structure.

I know buttering up posts doesn't help, but neither does being harsh when
for a 4th attempt that isnt half bad.

OT:

You need to work on your shading and make the chairs look more 3d,
apart from that, its not bad for a 4th alt wd.
