I did AQA Drama, I did 2 Questions from Section B!
The Crucible & Billy Liar, went smooth! Hard describing some bits though![]()

You have to do a theory exam for GCSE Drama? Wow, that sucks.
I did Edexcel GCSE Drama this year, and I didn't have no theory exam...

oh my days.
i prefer my course.
15% 7 hour drama exam on a set topic (ours was disability)
then 15% of coursework on it
then another 15% on a play (ours was lord of the flies)
then 15% on the coursework
then we had to devise a piece of drama, on ANYTHING at all, and that was worth 40%
so much fun =)

What can you write about for drama?
Why different things were effective in a production, what you would do if you were designing, how you would do lighting, costume acting. What was good about various different parts of a production... Quite a lot![]()

mines 40% based on two performances, and 60% on three peices of coursework/portfolios
there was little we could say, and even less we could do, as the ice kept getting thinner under me and you
Maybe they should have a GCSE for drama for people who want to be actors and a GCSE for people who want to do set design or be a playwright.
Well A level splits it up more because you can do Directing courses and acting courses, GCSE is just the foundation for gettin all the general knowledge...![]()
