    Loose everything as in?

    I dont mind loosing music/images/msn/firefox stuff like that can be downloaded again.
    Or will it completely loose everything

    Well there is one way.. when you have got a Vista disc, instead of installing it again, select 'Repair'. This SHOULD fix it and you won't lose any of your data

    Well im going to ring comet/ACER to see if they can do anything.

    If they cant and i do get a vista disk, what do i do?
    Because i tried to put xp back on one of my computers before and it completely screwed it up.

    Yeah, I think that's the best thing to do. You could also take it to PC world for the tech guys to have a look at it for you and fix it.. although they would charge like £30 for them to do so.. Quite expensive.

    Its still in it warrenty from comet, do you think theyll fix it for free ?

    I just want to know is it actually possible to fix or is my whole pc just gone

    You'll have to check your warranty to see if they cover software faults also. I have a feeling they would only fix/replace it if it had some physical damage

    Boot from a vista CD and enter the recovery console and rename %systemroot%\System32\uxtheme.old to uxtheme.dll

    I didnt even get a Vista CD with it :S :S :S
