Ive gone back to runescape now ... I wasnt going to but i ended up loosing most of my stuff on Habbo so kinda have to

- Are skills worth any money? If so which ones are worth it?

since skillcapes came out, skills no longer make money unless it is a resource skill. These skills are: combat, fishing and mining. Any other skill is going to require cash to level up, and since so many people are high leveled and can obtain money easily, the cost of leveling up a skill is astronomical compared to the income potential.

Easy ways to make cash:
Pick mort myre fungi
Kill herb-dropping monsters
do treasure trails
do resource skills

these ways will give you a slight income, but nothing compared to the fighting skills:
Dag kings - 110 combat (10m+ a day)
Kalphite Queen - 80 combat (1m+ a day)
Godwars - 115 combat (20m+ a day)
Barrows - 75 combat (4m+ a day)

all four of these activities is gaurenteed to make you a lot of money if you invest your time into them. Those are your options, or you could come out with a novel way to make money (althogh since the game has been out for so long it would be hard).

Most popular way of making money is Boss hunting, Godwars/ Dagannoth kings Etc.

Killing Dragons aswell.

Slayer is pretty profitable, so are clues if you get them as drops.

Some people are able to GE merchant, but i have no clue about that.
