Another way to get values for a particularly rare item of furni is to send a message to all your online friends saying that you want to buy it. This ususally works for me

Oh yer it might only be a good idea to do this if you actually do want to buy it, as some peopl may get annoyed

You shouldn't collect values this way, This is because you can only include a value that has been traded not just offered and then turned down. E.g. i could send a message to everyone saying Buying throne 65 HC and then they say ok then i say noty, thats not a values for an item of furni as you've refused that trade as you don't want to pay that for the item.
