    My birthday was in April but i haven't got off my *** to start learning yet. I'm hoping to have 4/5 lessons a week for 4 or 5 weeks, and hopefully pass in August / September!

    Getting a license in Canada seems easier, but takes around 2 years to get

    Weren't they going to take the prices of driving lessons up too? I read something else but forgot what now.

    Q28How long will it take for all these changes to take effect?
    A28The Public Consultation is open for 16 weeks, closing on September 9, 2008. Once the results have been collated and considered by ministers in parliament it will take at least 9 months thereafter for the changes to take effect.

    No one really decides the prices of lessons as a whole, it's done by the school or independent teacher. Some charge more, some charge less. It's going up a bit with petrol prices at the moment, if anything
