I agree with tom, I had a maxtor hard drive and it died within 2 years, definitely don't want to be replacing your hard drive and paying for data recovery every 2 years

Unrelated sort of, why is hard drive abbreviated hdd? I assume its because of HarD Drive, but not entirely sure

I've never personally had any problems with Maxtor... until I plugged the firewire and USB cables into it and my PC at the same time when I was like 7 We managed to get it out of the enclosure and now use it as as internet drive just fine
