How much do you think you could get for a non coded layout now-a-days?

For a good design non-coded.. I could get €200, €300 easy..

for a coded one you're looking at €500 to €1.000
($787 to $1.575)
And even more if you start using php & custom CMS's

I've met designers from professional design companies.. (with clients like coca cola etc) & out of curiosity I asked them what the average price is of a website they produce..

awnser: mostly arround 13.000 Euro, which is $20.475 (Note that these are extremely well designed, mostly full browser flash designs with flash/php CMS's behind them... but still ^^

Pffftt. The maximum I've ever gotten was £15 PMSL.

My IT teacher has asked me to make him a website with a cart etc. for £500... and he gets £500 too.

But, I don't have PHP Knowledge !

Perhaps you could try and convince him of having you to make the design, and someone else to do the script work.
You'll get a smaller pay, but it's always better then nothing...

My max so far is €1.140 ($1.795 | £900),
But I'm only just starting in the freelance world so I hope to keep growing in this

& This summer I'm going to nyc to go build 3 websites (including CMS's), together I'll get.. arround $3000 perhaps $3500
