I have been to lots of weddings and funerals and they have always been to huge stone churches that even in the summer are cold inside :s If I was going to go to church I would want to go to a proper church and not some crappy building that in no way resembles a church but just been blessed by some old guy with disturbing interests in young boys.

These are what a church should look like and not some crap building that could so easily be a pub, village hall or library etc.

Just to make my point below is a church it looks nothing like a church :s if i was religious i would want to go to an old stone place that looks like a church and if you would go to the church below i suggest you go to the pub instead at least they serve beer.

Churches don't have a proper look, the generic look is a building with a point at the top. I can name loads of old churches that don't look generic. Totham URC looks like a village hall, Totham Barn Church is hundreds of years old, and looks like a village hall come barn

I go to church, but that's because I work in one. I find the religion interesting, but I wouldn't follow everything they say and praise God for all my actions, which tends to make you seem hopeless and dumb. I would rather have my actions praised to me, not God Some things they say are good, but I think religion brings depression, where anything bad happens has to make you upset. Or it does in my church.

Shows how little you know:rolleyes: Church means "the people" the building does not matter. The reason for you have been in cold old churches is because people want a traditional Wedding in a nice old church that does not make a spot of difference to where God is. As for old guy who has blessed it and is interested in young boys you really really need to get out more or grow up.

Well to me a church is one with a spire or like the 2 with a castle type look. i would not go to a building to be surrounded by a load of god bods singing random songs and reading some book full of lies so might as well stop at home mary should have come clean that she didnt like a bit of joseph and found his brother far more exciting. My comment on old pervs was aimed mainly towards the catholic church and at some of their lot and the cover ups even at the vatican where they just moved priests on to other churches to offend again as soon as there was any question mark of the paedo priest getting close to the young kids and not in a good way.
Where god is? how does he fit in all the churches at the same time? there was soom good conman about and very weak minded people to make them believe in all that crap.
