Every time I have asked if shops are hiring, they have ALL asked me to bring in cvs.

For a part time job, best look at a college notice board. Where else are businesses going to look for part time employees?

Best way for the job is to either
Know someone
or enquire about application forms. Don't do it with some random part time person, as they won't know/care. Try speak to someone more senior. They'll tell you how to go about applying (application form/CV/both etc.)

Naa, at 16 you can just ignore the experience part. You could maybe put work experience at school, thats just about it.

I was also told to make your cv more interesting. So if you have a good CV, if you make it something the reader can remember, there going to remember your good CV.
