    I now have ubuntu on my computer but it doesnt let me install these programs so far: aMSN, flash player, shockwave player live messenger

    its ubuntu 8.04 hardy heron

    Most linux distros don't support shockwave. Flash should work easily. MSN is a windows program, you will need to use the Ubuntu equivalent (Pidgin, is preinstalled). Or WINE (very complicated to get MSN to work).

    Sorry I fail to see how Fedora lost your network driver for vista whn NFTS drives arent viewable in linux unless you have a plugin installed?
