You might be nervous because your too concious about what other's think of you. Don't think about that, and you'll do okay.

Edit: Just read some posts, Jake said same thing.

It's true though, and the best way to get around it, is not care about how you look (but I'm giving there advice there which i can't take tbh lol), or ask then how you look. You can also persuade yourself you look good, as it can boost your confidence .

So im really shy. And when im shy i get really nervous, and when i get nervous i get the feeling of being really ill. Like feeling sick/stomache ache!

i really dont know how to get over it.

Yea same, im usually shy around new people but once I get to know them I start to feel a bit more confident

Just force yourself to go and talk to people you're shy around, the easiest way to do it

well you know the cure for shyness either get so drunk you can't remember a thing, or just go up to people you don't know (or do, but people you dont know work best) and act confident.

I only need to be a wee bit drunk to get the confidence to jump up and start dancing and talking to anyone lol

I'm super shy but I've always got the feeling there is something tiny locking the confidence up.

The weird thing though is that if I'm with a mate for like an hour I'm really chatty and stuff but the next day I act all shy with them for about 10 minutes lol
