On our realm, succesful raiding guilds wont let you join until you're hit-capped. On my guild you have to be hit-capped before you join in for Kara ._.

Both stormstrike and windfury are both hitcapped via shaman talents, it's considered a waste of a socket to gem hit. Strength is preferred as it scales with kings. Hit rating is only considered a bonus to increase white damage. Might be an idea to actually know something about the class before you try to quote someone and make them look stupid
