This a terrible tutorial. The final result isn't even a navigation bar, just a rounded rectangle with a stripe overlay.

You didn't even show people how to make the pattern and the blue overlay for the rounded rectangle was also a predone style. You should have showed us the settings for the style including the colour's hex codes.
