If you're dead then you're dead.. your body has ceased to function and you are no longer alive. Whatever happens thereafter to your body is decided upon by your next of kin/estate/council - you could be buried, frozen, turned into a ring or turned into dust.

Now I might rant on a bit, but keep up with me.
Scientifically speaking, there is nothing, your body doesn't feel, sense or move. You are dead. You cannot feel pain and you are imobile. The most obvious thing that happens when this happens - darkness.
But does that sound bad? When you die, you can't hear, you can't sense and you can't be tormented by everyday life, when you die you are at peace. You can be tortued and condemned all your life, but the moment you step into the darkness, is the moment you find the peace.
It doesn't sound THAT bad if you think about it.
Just my Purple view though

In all honesty, I'd rather be dead than live in the **** world we live in, but I'd go out in style.
