My cats never bit or hid.. Atleast you don't have the risks of getting mauled.

you must have had good cats. i like cats if they just ahng out with you and rub against your leg. it feels good.
and you can get mauled by a cat, they bike/scratch/hiss/scare the **** outa me

I've grown up with cats, in my life I've had 6.

They're really nice, all of them obviously have their own personality. They're quite frustrating when they're little. Our cats pooped everywhere until we trained them to hold their bums.

And our last cat wouldn't eat so we had to give him warm weetabix :S Doctor told us to do it. He was 1 when he first ate catfood. loll.
