There was actually a bit of Science behind electronics failing at the Millennium, and a lot of equipment did actually stop working or go wrong.

However I'd rather believe in God, Allah or whatever else than believe this ****.

Net Neutrality is actually quite a serious issue. If ISPs started to charge to visit certain websites, then yes, it would be the end of the internet as we know it. The internet was designed as a free medium where anyone could create something and share it with others, and our access to it should not be controlled by ISPs trying to make more cash.

What if you had to pay an extra £10 a month to go on Myspace? Or to use MSN? What about an extra £20 to use YouTube, or Last.fm?

I wouldn't be happy paying extra to visit a few sites. The internet should stay free (as in visiting websites) and we should only be paying for the services they actually give us at this moment in time.

i truely doubt it would happen in this country due to competition laws + we have LOTS of ISPs in this country. One would offer 'unlimited access to every site'
    goodbye.

I can't see this happening, in the UK I think there's a law they would be breaking and there's no need for them to this, hey make aload of money as it is!

    Not going to happen.

For as long as people have freedom of speech, they will freely surf the internet.

Furthermore, has anyone noticed that TELUS's Pay-Per-Use service is actually for wireless web surfing and nothing to do with broadband internet or anything that really matters?

    My two cents.
    Best regards,
