The only thing you can upgrade in a laptop is RAM.

No, you can upgrade RAM, the hard drive, the optical drive, the bluetooth module and the CPU (as long as it's not soldered on which it rarely is).

However you can not upgrade your graphics card as they are always soldered onto the motherboard, so until someone realises there is a market for upgradable graphics cards for laptops there's nothing you can do about that.
