when i first got mine, ur meant to leae it for a day or so to settle in then put gloves on and pick it up, don't grab it tho, let it run over ur hands.

and neverr pick it up after you've eaten, i always do that and get bitten

Use a tube to lure the hamster in then slide it out onto your hand, Dont hold it just let it run across your hands, Hamster are probly the worst for biting but thats because they are naturaly timid.

So dont hold tight just let it run across your hands

My hamster kept dying then coming back to life when I put it next to the fireplace- it was dead weird... poor Patches.

Anyway i got her one of those cages with tubes coming out and stuff- she used to love making grand escapes from them! One night I woke up with her chewing my toe...

OMD. I never even knew I made this. The hamster's gone now. I had done most of the stuff mentioned here naturally anyway. Thanks for help though!

Never wake a hamster is my first tip Hamstrs like stuff to climb such as ropes. Get hamster cubes and tubes from ebay, they loves those! Best not use a box or toilet roll for tubes because some hamsters will eat them.
