A*s are available for people just starting college (sep 08) and they're not available at AS, theyre available in 2nd year so first A*s will be issued in august 2010.

where you need 270/300+ on A2 modules which is very hard, and a total of 480/600 + overall for an A*, doesn't matterwhat you get on AS if your going for A* - although its good to have really high UMS so you can drop UMS on 2nd year

Is very hard to acheive an a* in drama. The grade boundry this year was at 97%. Good luck nevertheless.
