It was blatantly obvious to the most rétarded of people that he was going to resign.

3 days ago he didn't turn up in training as he was thinking of leaving. Doesn't mean he had actually resigned at that moment in time. Because then Ashley tried to persuade him to stay. Which he obviously finally anounced his resignation today.

He shouldn't have returned to Newcastle anyway, he left a hero last time, returned as a hero last season, and now he has left as a failure... Newcastle fans won't respect him in the way when he last managed them.
