I dont know what it is, but it just doesn't have the feel to it. :/ Umm, I think its the lines which you've done to try and make it wooden. I think they just dont suit it. I dont know... look at other grungey items and see what makes them grungey and add them in or something. This just doesn't look right.

It's because he hasn't done any shading.
"That my heart might someday stop trying to jump
out of my chest whenever you touch me?"
"I really hope not," he said, smug.

What you want to do is this:

    - first of all, all those outlines on your alt which aren't directly AROUND the alt, you turn to a darker colour of the main alt you have use, so in this case it would infact be... Brown
    - secondly, I would personally get rid of those lines and do straight ones [straight as in for the desk] and do them in the same colour but not all round, use them very subtly.
    - Thirdly, to get more of a grunge effect if you can do it, I would make the broken glass hole a bit bigger, maybe take up the whole bottom left corner with it.
    - Fourth, as for your glass, glass is alot thicker than that so what you need to do in future is draw it so the glass is basically 1 pixel thick. It just makes it more 3D. [I have just seen that you did it for the top glass but not the glass on the windows]
    - Fifth, I wouldn't put those red lines there because too be quite honest I haven't a clue what they are...
-Sixth, When it comes to the little pull out thing for your desk, you should use a darker shade of brown to go round the right hand side and bottom of it.

It is decent, but there are a lot of things that you need to do. You asked for help so I am giving it to you. If you dont understand something I have put or want help with alting just pm me and I will be happy to help. So far I would say your on a 5/10, but if you make the changes ive put im sure you will get boosted up to 8 maybe even 9 /10.
