The images could have been used to make the new HC furni seem posh or something, just like the habbos are. And it saves making a new image everytime they want to post news.

Top image got used for the new hc furni, I guess they just uploaded them all cos they are lazy
Edit: I hate to break your bubble but all top story images are uploaded to all hotels, change the .co.uk to .com or .nl etc etc. It doesn't mean that they will be used by all hotels however.
