and as you say, there is no difference between posting a link & directly posting the picture, so just stick with the link.

I think Punchable wants the rule changed so he can post a pic of himself in his avatar or something?

I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed to insert a picture of yourself.
If the rule is to stop bullying surely it's pointless because people can bully you from the links you post in the 'Post your Picture' thread?

I don't think this would be good, as this could increase bullying to other forum members, although you can post links. If your that desperate you can go on CH, they allow it.

If you upload an avatar or picture of yourself, anywhere on the internet, you have to expect criticism and no-one is to blame but yourself. It should be allowed, Habbox is a teen site and coincidently members should take responsibility of their actions. If members get bullied, pull out the tiny violins and play the worlds sadest song. It all depends on how childish the members are, but usually if members post pictures of themselves they're hugely edited and half the time you're not recognisable...

A majority of forums have members posting pcitures of themselves in profile pictures and avatars, it's expected and there is no rule of the galactic forum definition organisation saying anywhere "forums aren't for pictures of yourself". That's a vague way of thinking :/

No we should not. The amount of bullying would be terrible. I could see it now all the comments about each other.

What about sites like bebo and myspace? I've never seen people posting bad things about how they look.

That's from one person's point of view, that's why there is a option so you can put your profile to private, or pictures to private.

Are we using the same forum?! If members weren't childish moderators wouldn't have to edit for swearing and insulting every 10 seconds, fact of the matter is the members ARE childish because they are children. Its sad but its true.

I can't see this rule being changed any time in the near future anyway, if you're that desperate just post a link.
