I did something like this a few weeks ago but it wasn't a metal piece I hit, it was a solid wall Put ice on it to ease down the swelling

It was the first 2 days I did it, its easing off and only hurts when I touch of try to open bottles etc....

Simple answer really if you can move it then it's probably just bruised if not then get an X-ray to be sure.
