    Shouldn't really effect the line as it's a digital signal?

    Noise does affect a line and can cause certain people to have really bad disconnection problems which eventually causes the router sync at a lower speed that you can actually get.

    Unless your mains cables are right next to your network ones.

    I have a netgear router and it disconnects alot... for no reason.
