    Easiest way is to just re-install windows.

    I'm running xp and barely use our vista comp so somebody correct me if this is wrong:

    My computer (Windows button+E) >>
    Right click C: drive >>
    "Disk Cleanup" >>
    Let it work stuff out, tick all the things you want cleaned >>
    "Ok"

    Not sure if it will help majorly but doing it reguarly helps
